DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Ribbon Cutting for the Peter Garrett Trail \nDirections: \nTake Benton Ave. NE in Winslow and look for the CMP pole yard (halfway between Big G’s Deli and Haywood Road).  On the west side of the road\, you will see a trail sign with the KMTrails logo.  The location will be marked with green and white balloons on the sign to indicate where to turn for the ribbon cutting event. Take that road west to the parking lot for the trails.

(Materials will be available for those who need them.) \n ______________________________________________________ \nNoon: Water Rescue Demonstration by the Waterville Fire Department\nLocation: North Street Launch \nA “victim” was spotted in a kayak caught in debris in the Messalonskee Stream.  After studying the current\, WFD members will deploy a rapid inflatable boat to ensure a quick\, safest choice rescue.
